(hereafter the "Company")

SERVICES

The Company offers a thermal imaging inspection & snagging service. We use our best abilities to help ensure we pick up every defect in your house. This, however, may not always be possible. This may be due to; accessibility/visibility in or out of your house, human error or any similar reason. The Company takes no responsibility for any defect/issues missed or misrepresented.

The following Services will be provided if selected;

The company will survey the property for defects from the build. This will include looking for both ‘major’ and ‘minor’ defects as determined by the NHBC standards. 

The company will survey all areas of the property that are accessible. 

The company will provide a full written report documenting findings as well as proof by way of images where possible. 

(If selected) the company will carry out a thermal imaging survey and will report any defects found, providing pictures where possible.

(If selected) the company will survey the property once the house builder has rectified the issues to ensure that they are now correct and complete. 

The service to be provided is a snagging inspection and report. We take no responsibility if your builder refuses to complete defects. 

The company will make themselves available for questions and queries regarding the written report following the customers receipt if required. 

The company is liable for the work carried out by it’s employees or sub-contractors, the individual themselves are not liable.

The written report and survey conducted by the company is produced solely for use by the client. The company has no responsibility to a third party that has accessed the report or service. 

ASSUMPTIONS

The company will make the following assumptions unless otherwise states:

The property has working mains services including Water, Gas, Electricity and Drainage.

The property is structurally sound.

There are no immediate conflicts of interests.

The client has the appropriate authority to arrange the survey and to arrange necessary access to the property.

The Inspector will not enter other private property to carry out their survey.

The property is a residential property and will only be used as such.

LOCATION

Receipt of the Company’s email confirmation to your provided email address is an agreement of the location, date, time, price and terms and conditions. Any changes must be given via email latest 48 hours before the inspection takes place. 

The final written report will be provided to the clients email address. 

FEES AND PAYMENTS

Payment should be made upon receipt of the invoice. Inspection appointment will be cancelled automatically if invoice is not paid 48 hours before the inspection booked time. Online payments will be made through Stripe, who will have access to your details to enable them to take and process the payment. 

If the inspector is unable to gain access to the property on the day of the inspection, then no refund will be allowed.

If the property is unsuitable for inspection due to health and safety reasons, then no refund will be allowed.

Cancellations within 24 hours of inspection booked time are non-refundable under any circumstances.

CLIENT'S OBLIGATIONS

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our services, then please let us know before we release the report to you and we will try our best to make it right. No refund will be allowed once report is released to you.

QUALIFICATIONS

Our Inspectors have completed the NHBC ‘Effective Snagging’ course & hold diplomas in Building Surveyor Training at Quality Licence Scheme Level 3.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal and payment information may be processed by a third-party company. This is purely in the interests of customer data protection. The current payment client used is Stripe.

The Company is registered with the ICO for the processing of personal data. The registration number is 17302799.

If a sub-contractor is required to fulfil your contract, necessary personal information may be shared with them. 

LIABILITY

The Company offers a thermal imaging inspection / snagging service. We use our best abilities to help ensure we pick up every defect in your house. This, however, may not always be possible. This may be due to; accessibility/visibility in or out of your house, human error or any similar reason. The Company takes no responsibility for any defect/issues missed or misrepresented.

The Company holds Public Liability (up to £2,000,000) and Professional Indemnity insurances (Up to £1,000,000). Copies of the policy cover notes are available upon request.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event you are not satisfied with any part of the service, you must write to us at Ignite Property Group Limited, 36A South View Gardens, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 2AG, alternatively, send us an email to [email protected]. The Company will provide you with a detailed response within 14 days of receipt. As per the Liability Clause, no liability will be accepted by the Company for any defects/issues missed or misrepresented, as well as liability for being denied entry at site.
